Come Visit Us!

The Museum is located on the grounds of the Kalaeloa Airport, formerly the Naval Air Station Barbers Point, at 91-1299A Midway St.

As the Museum is on an active airport, all tours must be guided by one of our knowledgeable, friendly volunteer docents. To make sure that one will be available, please call and give us at least 24 hours’ notice before your intended visit. As we are an all-volunteer organization, there is no guarantee that a docent will be on-site for drop-in visits.

Tours are available Tuesday through Friday 0800 – 1530, and Saturday 1000 – 1530. We are closed to tours on Sunday and Monday.

Museum tours generally take one-and-a-half to three hours, depending on group size and interest. The tours include the interiors of several aircraft, so closed-toe shoes are advised, and Hawaii’s lovely sun combined with an open ramp means that strong sunscreen and water are highly recommended. Please advise us of any disabilities so that we can cater your tour to your mobility.

As the museum collection is on an open flightline, tours are subject to cancellation for rain.  Please make sure to provide contact information when booking your tour.

Children love our museum and the ability to get hands-on with the aircraft, and we love sharing their excitement with them. However, we do ask that you emphasize to them to be gentle with our aircraft and, for their safety, to only climb on equipment when invited to.

We ask a donation of $15 per adult, $8 per child under 18, and $10 per person for military (active, retired, or veteran). Group and school tours are very welcome.
